Mark comes to us from Hamilton, Ontario, and has been performing on the Guitar for seventeen years in both Ontario and British Columbia. Originally self-taught on the Guitar, he went to enrol at the Mohawk College's Music Arts Program to receive formal training under Toronto's Jazz Guitarist Geoff Young, as well as learning the Piano and music rudiments. After earning his diploma, Mark began "gigging" and teaching in the styles of Jazz, Rock, Blues and Classical. He has been teaching professionally for four years. |

Andrew
Slade - Music Theory

Andrew has been studying piano and music theory from the age of 5, and
has extensive experience in both Classical and Jazz piano. He completed
a Bachelor's Degree in Classical Piano from the University of Victoria,
and went on to participate in JAZZUV, a diploma program in Xalapa, Mexico
under Edgar Dorantes. He has performed and taught both locally and internationally,
and has a true passion for music. Andrew is comfortable teaching all disciplines
of study, from Bach to Jazz Improvisation.
