Welcome to the Larsen Music Fretted Instrument Department. In this part of the store you’ll find more than just guitars. We have the widest range of fretted instruments in Victoria. You’ll find acoustic, electric and classical guitars, mandolins, banjos, resonators, lap steels, Weissenborns, Basses, ukuleles, Amps, pedals, pickups, tubes, speakers, strings, slides, capos, lots of strings and learning material. We also have a full repair shop to service your instruments. All new instruments are subject to 1 year free set up.
Acoustic
Here you’ll find a range of Dreadnaught, folk, parlor, classical ( ½, ¾, 7/8 and full ) Archtop, Weissenborn, resonator and electro-acoustic guitars from makers such as Breedlove, Eastman, Seagull, Alvarez, Raimundo, Tanglewood, Art and Luitherie, Regal, Blueridge and Aria.

Electric
We are the main Peavey dealer on Vancouver Island with a full range of guitars, basses and amps. Eastwood is one of our biggest selling electric guitars because they’re cool. If your looking for a Jazz guitar look no further than the Eastman.

Ukulele
The Ukulele is gaining in popularity and Larsen Music has one of the best selections of ukes in BC, with anything from student sopranos to Hawaiian made concerts and tenors. Even the poor old baritone has a home here in our busy little uke corner. You’ll also find Aquila strings and all the Jumpin' Jim music books you could want. Other things you’ll find are the little uker books and the James Hill classroom method. And of course Larsen Music is the home of Ukulele adventures with Paul Laverick!

Folk
If you come downstairs to our string department you’ll find more than violins and cellos.
We have the widest range of Mandolins and banjos on Vancouver Island. We stock Eastman, Breedlove, Kentucky, Goldtone and Goodtime, to name a few. You’ll also find Weissenbourns and other resonator and lap steel instruments. All setups and adjustments are done in our on site workshop, so you don’t just get an instrument , you get advice and service that you may not find elsewhere! |

Looking for accessories? We have a wide selection of great strings (single and sets), capos, tuners, metronomes, cases and straps for most fretted instruments. If we don't have it, chances are we can order it in!
